I recently realised that my blog template was too boring. However, my busy schedule does not allow me to post too much so I will only post some information first. Okay, my tests are next week so wish me good luck. Also, fencing inter-school competition is in 14 days. I will be competing in both epee( team event only) and foil(both individual and team event). This will be my first competition and we will be fencing against fencers who have more experience than most of our secondary two. Therefore, I just hope to gain some experience and strive for the best. Also, I have put a mixpod under my tagboard navigational menu. You can just click on it to check out ten songs ( not a lot but will be updating soon) which are some of my favourite songs. Also, this theme is pretty nice and I will probably be editing to make some more columns perphaps. Okay, that's all I have to blog for today, byeeee.

IT Fair

Recently, on 13th March, I went to the It Fair to look at the new pcs or macs to see if there were any discounts as I have spoiled my pc through unknown means even to myself. Sadly, in the IT Fair, I saw tons of pamphlets thrown on the floor when there were a rubbish bin nearby. Sadly, I was in a rush to get back home and hence, did not take any photos to show you the ugly side of Singaporeans. Of course, some of the sales assistant did give me some pamphlets. However, unlike some inconsiderate people, I kept them in my bag, rather than throwing it on the floor. This is shocking to me as I was able to think of our people and keep my pamphlets. Furthermore, I am currently only 13 years old and yet, I believe that there were definitely some adults who were the culprits. With only a few steps to the nearest dustbin, the floor could be much cleaner. Yet, perphaps due to laziness, they decided to cause inconvenience for people. While some people may say that this is only a small matter and I am making a mountain out of a molehill, I disagree. If we singaporeans are unable to accomplish even such a small matter, then much less talk about more important matters.

I have featured two youtube videos of dante inferno here, you can see the gameplay and if it appeals to you, you can buy it. Also, just to inform you, you can check out the second video and it will show you the result of choosing punishment within 10 seconds.
The holidays have started. All work and no play makes a dull jack, to reward my hard work this term, I decided to play dante inferno and have decided to review it here on my blog.
Review
Dante inferno has been referred to as a copy of world war one but I disagree. Dante's Inferno literally pushes the Mature rating to its most extreme point, as you'll experience and see souls being tortured, loads of violence as you skewer the undead, and blood gushing out a lot.At times, I felt sorry for the people and creatures trapped there. For example, on one level, I fought a horde of undead babies with two swords which was very disgusting. Dante either uses his scythe to slice and kill demons or other malevolent creatures that get in his way. He can use a holy cross to attack the demons. As Dante destroys demons, he gains soul which enable him to upgrade his attacks or give him new types of attacks.When attacking an enemy, you can grab them and either absolve or punish them. Perform a Punishment by destroying them with your scythe and you'll earn Unholy points. Absolve their spirit by blasting them with your cross and you'll earn Holy points. Collecting points helps you to gain either holy or unholy levels and purchase new attacks and abilities. Currently, I am going on the holy path because the unholy path is just too gory. I had tried punishing a demon and ended up tearing it apart, causing blood to spill everywhere. As have only completed the game until the circle of lust, I will review it more once I finish the game.
Background info
During the Third Crusade, the story follows, a deeply Christian crusader general who despite his faith has committed numerous atrocities under his command. Attempting to seek atonement, Dante stitches a bloody holy cross-shaped tapestry onto his torso, which depicts every sin he has committed. First opening in the city of Acre, Dante has been ordered by King Richard I to seize a holy relic before the forces of Saladin. During a raid by the cities peasants, Dante is stabbed in the back by an assassin where upon Death appears before him to be taken to the after life. Despite being led to believe by a Bishop his sins were absolved, Dante is ruled by Death to be condemned to "everlasting damnation for [his] sins", a fate his loved ones will also share. Dante however pulls the knife from his back and refuses to accept his fate, engaging Death itself in combat where he not only destroys Death but also takes his great scythe in the process. He returns to Florence, seeking a life of peace but finds his loverBeatrice Portinari and father brutally murdered. Beatrice's soul appears before Dante telling him he knew he would come after her before a shadowy manifestation of Lucifer drags her into darkness, before the undead begin to rise and attacking Dante. After making it to a chapel, Dante seeks assistance by blessing the holy cross that Beatrice gave to him upon making their vows to be true to each other, to protect him against the evils that await. Upon doing so, a crack in the earth opens up allowing Dante to descend to the Gates of Hell.
Today, fencing training was cancelled. However, our captain smsed us telling us that we could go to Absolute Fencing to train. The training was optional and attendance was not taken. However, as I missed last week Thursday training, I decided to go to make up for the missed training. However, I was late and I told my captain that I could go to Af myself. However, God decided to play with me. While I was on my bus, and my bus was approaching the bus stop opposite tradehub. It rained. I had to use my fencing bag to shield myself from the heavy rain. Furthermore, my pocket which held my iphone was getting wet. In the end, by the time I reach tradehub, my whole body was drenched. My fencing bag was wet and my fencing equipment was wet. My fencing lames was wet which was not supposed to be washed or it could spoil. Also my shoe was totally wet. At the start of training or middle to people who arrived earlier, I almost slipped. After a while, we started free fencing.
Results:
10-3: I won against a Secondary three senior although I was pretty lucky since he was quite careless
15-3: I won against another Secondary Two
2-15: I got completely thrashed by Joshua, a Secondary Two student
3-7: I lost against Randy, a secondary three student.
However, I have learned much from today's fencing bout, and I should be able to improve my score against Randy but not against Joshua because I dont even know what to do to counter his attacks.
On Monday, I took the Multiple Intelligence Test to deduce my learning style as instructed by my teacher.
1) Linguistic
2) Intrapersonal
3)Interpersonal
A year has passed since my last Multiple Intelligence Test. However, I have forgotten my test results last year. I feel that the Multiple Intelligence Test allows us to know our strengths and weaknesses in our learning style. However, frankly speaking I feel that the Multiple Intelligence Test is quite useless as our teachers barely use it at al. Even if they do, it is merely for a blog post or one or to lessons which is not very useful. Our results could be used for greater use if our teachers decides to give us for example, ace opportunities such as working in a group and create a script for To Kill A Mockingbird. After creating the script, the group could act it out.
Who would you want to be friends with in the novel? Explain.
I would want to be friends with Scout Finch as she would either be your best friend or your worst enemy. Her positive traits would either make you admire her guts or totally hate it and feel that she is naive. For example, Scout Finch would not hesitate to fight with someone else if someone insulted or attempts to start a fight with me. Furthermore, she is very playful, evident in her acting in the Boo Radley Story which means that playing with her would be very fun. Also, when a mob wanted to lynch Tom Robinson and Atticus and Mr Braxton Underwood tried to protect them, a confrontation occured. However, Scout was not flustered. Instead, she tried to persuade the mob and apply Atticus's principles. Thus, this can be seen as an act of courage.

Murdered murdered himself By Rodger Leong

Maycomb – Maycomb County Law officials have been investigating mysterious death of Mr. Bob Ewell. The gray haired white man was discovered at dead at 11.05 p.m. near the Maycomb schoolyard after the Halloween Pageant by our country sheriff, Mr Heck Tate. Investigations reveal that Bob Ewell was stalking Scout and Jem Finch with a knife. : "Ewell probably found that kitchen knife in the dump somewhere." Mr Heck Tate said.Apparently, Scout and Jem Finch had knowledge of someone stalking them, but they thought that it was Cecil trying to scare them. After a while, Bob Ewell attacked them and "crushed the chicke wire around Jem Scout.An eyewitness of the crime, Arthur Radley said that he saw Bob Ewell attacking Scout and Jem Finch, Fortunately, Mr Arthur Radley managed to save the children before much harm could be done.
However, Jem Finch's arm was broken during the struggle while Scout Finch had minor bruises. "This thing probably saved her life", Atticus Finch said that Jem Scout's Halloween pageant costume had saved her life. Also, Dr Reynolds revealed that Bob Ewell " tried to wing Jem's arm off". " I am really grateful to Arthur Radley , he saved my children" Atticus Finch confessed.
This case has been closed. Both the eye-witness account and evidence shows that Bob Ewell fell on his own knife, ironically, during his murdered attempt.
