Maycomb – Maycomb County Law officials have been investigating mysterious death of Mr. Bob Ewell. The gray haired white man was discovered at dead at 11.05 p.m. near the Maycomb schoolyard after the Halloween Pageant by our country sheriff, Mr Heck Tate. Investigations reveal that Bob Ewell was stalking Scout and Jem Finch with a knife. : "Ewell probably found that kitchen knife in the dump somewhere." Mr Heck Tate said.Apparently, Scout and Jem Finch had knowledge of someone stalking them, but they thought that it was Cecil trying to scare them. After a while, Bob Ewell attacked them and "crushed the chicke wire around Jem Scout.An eyewitness of the crime, Arthur Radley said that he saw Bob Ewell attacking Scout and Jem Finch, Fortunately, Mr Arthur Radley managed to save the children before much harm could be done.
However, Jem Finch's arm was broken during the struggle while Scout Finch had minor bruises. "This thing probably saved her life", Atticus Finch said that Jem Scout's Halloween pageant costume had saved her life. Also, Dr Reynolds revealed that Bob Ewell " tried to wing Jem's arm off". " I am really grateful to Arthur Radley , he saved my children" Atticus Finch confessed.
This case has been closed. Both the eye-witness account and evidence shows that Bob Ewell fell on his own knife, ironically, during his murdered attempt.
